SG Business Brand ("SG Business Brand", "we", "us" or "our") is a brand operated by IT SOLUTION PTE. LTD. (UEN 201216738N), a company registered in Singapore with its registered address at 51 Goldhill Plaza #07-07, Singapore 308900. "BusinessWithTom" is also a brand of IT SOLUTION PTE. LTD..

This Privacy & Data Protection Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). 1. Our role

SG Business Brand is a business-discovery directory. Our service is to improve the online visibility of listed businesses (search, answer-engine and generative-engine optimisation — SEO, AEO and GEO) and to drive relevant visitors to their listings, and to provide performance reporting to business clients. When you enquire with a listed business, your enquiry is directed to that business, which is an independent organisation responsible for its own products, services and handling of your data. We do not manage the business's services or its response to you.

2. Personal data we collect

a. Information you submit

• Enquiry forms on a listing: your name, email, phone, preferred contact method, the service you are interested in, and your message.
• Claim a listing / List your business forms: your name, email, phone, business details and any supporting document you upload.
• Technical data submitted with a form, including your IP address, used for security and fraud prevention.

b. Usage & analytics data

We operate a first-party, privacy-conscious analytics system to measure visibility and interactions (page views and deliberate clicks such as website, phone, WhatsApp, email, map and enquiry actions). It uses pseudonymous, non-reversible identifiers only. We do not store your raw IP address in analytics, we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking, and reporting is at the level of anonymous sessions, never named individuals. 3. How we use personal data

• To transmit your enquiry to the listed business and enable it to respond to you.
• To operate, maintain and secure the directory and prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
• To produce aggregate performance reporting for business clients (containing no visitor identities, IP addresses or message content).
• To respond to claims, business-listing submissions and your enquiries to us.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Enquiries go to the listed business

When you submit an enquiry on a business listing, we deliver it to that business (using the business's own contact details) so it can respond to you directly. The listed business is a separate organisation and an independent controller of the personal data it receives; its use of your data is governed by its own policies. We retain a limited record of the enquiry to provide the service, for security, and for the aggregate performance reporting described above. SG Business Brand is not a party to, and is not responsible for, the products, services, communications or transactions between you and the listed business.

5. Disclosure of personal data

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose it to: (a) the listed business you enquire with; (b) trusted service providers who process data on our behalf — our email delivery provider (Brevo/Sendinblue), our anti-spam provider (Cloudflare Turnstile) and our web hosting provider; and (c) authorities or parties where required by law or to protect our rights. Service providers are permitted to use the data only to provide their service to us.

6. Consent & withdrawal

We collect enquiry, claim and submission data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the consent box and submit a form. You may withdraw consent or ask us to stop using your data by contacting our Data Protection Officer (below). Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer transmit or follow up an enquiry.

7. Retention

• Analytics events: retained for up to 18 months, then purged; long-term reporting uses aggregate figures only.
• Enquiries, claims and listing submissions: retained for up to 24 months from your last interaction (or as required to resolve a matter or meet a legal obligation), after which they are deleted or anonymised.

We keep personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above.

8. Protection & overseas transfer

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards (including access controls, HTTPS in transit, and pseudonymisation in analytics). Some service providers (e.g. email and content-delivery) may process data on servers outside Singapore; where they do, we take steps intended to ensure a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.

9. Your rights (access & correction)

Under the PDPA you may request access to, or correction of, the personal data we hold about you, and ask about how it has been used or disclosed. To make a request, withdraw consent, or raise a concern, contact our Data Protection Officer:

We will respond within a reasonable time. A reasonable fee may apply to certain access requests, as permitted by the PDPA.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
